Tour Reviews

We weren’t sure what to expect and this Istanbul tour far exceeded our expectations! From the numerous email communications to the end of the tour, we loved it! The traditional Turkish foods we experienced were varied and delicious. Our guide, Korhan was so knowledgeable and Timed everything beautifully. We had great tour companions. We can’t say enough wonderful things about this adventure!

My mom and I had the opportunity to take the Istanbul tour with Korhan. I must say it was incredible. We ate at 7 places all which had an incredible variety and history behind. Thank you for helping us discover Istanbul in a fun way. Highly recommend Istanbul on Food to anyone.

“A Great Istanbul Tour! We (family of 5 people) started our Istanbul visit with this food tour. Although it was cold and raining, this tour was a great success. We all enjoyed the food and Latif, our guide. We felt like being out with our best friend. Whenever we get back to Istanbul, we will definitely try the whole day tours. Again THANK YOU – Latif!”

My husband and I just did the Taksim Street Food tour with Korhan and had the best time! We have been on a 5 week Europe trip and this istanbul tour was one of our favorites! Korhan was a great guide. He was extremely hospitable, easy to talk to, full of cuisine knowledge and enjoyed sharing about the Turkish culture. We could see how much he cared for all six of us to have best time we could possible have. The food was delicious and it was so great to walk through the small streets of Taksim where real locals ate and socialized. We would highly recommend this tour and this company!”

Korhan is a fantastic guide, and my husband and I had a blast spending the day with him. On top of his knowledge of Turkish food, he’s a great resource for Turkish history and culture, as well. This Istanbul food tour gave us the opportunity to try foods we never would have picked out on our own while visiting Istanbul. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Istanbul looking for an authentic experience with Turkish food. A few points of advice to future tour goers: 1. Don’t eat anything that morning – you’ll need all the space your stomach has! 2. Pace yourself – it’s a LOT of food. 3. Wear pants with an elastic waistband. 4. Prepare to walk quite a distance on their Istanbul walking tours.

This was a wonderful experience, we did the two Continents Istanbul food tour and found the tastes and views all very interesting. I had a reluctant husband who ended up thoroughly enjoyed the walk and the tasting and just seeing another side of this wonderful city. Totally recommend their Istanbul walking tours!
