How to Make Turkish Cucumbers with Yogurt
Serves 4-6
Ingredients
- 5 cups plain yogurt
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon dried mint
- 3 cucumbers, grated or finely diced
- 8-10 fresh mint leaves
- olive oil
Method
Beat together the yogurt, garlic, and salt until smooth. Add the dried mint, cucumber, and 1 cup cold water and mix well. Pour the mixture into individual serving bowls. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a few drops of olive oil. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Serve very cold.
