Turkish Okra with Olive Oil Recipe

600 grams of okra
1 medium onion
3 large tomatoes
5 tablespoons of olive oil
½ tablespoon tomato paste
½ tablespoon pepper paste
juice of ½ lemon
1 teaspoonful pepper
2 teaspoons
1 cube sugar
1.5 cups of hot water

Chop the peeled onions and tomatoes into small cubes.
Using a knife, clean the heads of okra without going too deep. Wash okra that you have extracted thoroughly.

Put olive oil, tomato paste and onions in a medium saucepan. Saute until the onions are lightly pink.
Then add the tomatoes that you chopped into cubes. Mix and close the lid.

When the tomatoes begin to melt slightly, add your okra. Mix gently, add salt, lemon juice and sugar.
Finally, add water on the ingredients and cook over medium heat.
After cooking, serve hot or cold. Enjoy your meal.

* If you are going to serve your cold in a cold way, you can pour olive oil on it and sprinkle with fresh chopped dill.
